Before graduation, Zhou Sheng opens his heart to Ling Xuan, only to be refused, whereupon Ling Xuan leaves Warsaw. When she comes back to China, Ling Xuan realizes she has always loved Zhou Sheng, and decides to wait for him until he comes back from Europe. The book offers a number of very interesting insights about Chinese overseas students and their life in Warsaw, multi-cultural environment among international students, current world affairs, and how Warsaw is seen and interpreted in the eyes of a Chinese student.
