The composers featured are Cotton, Ferrabosco, Philips, Johnson, Mason, Robinson, Dowland, Daniel, Bacheler and several Anonymi. Oleg Timofeyev is a highly respected lutenist, guitarist, musicologist and documentary film director. He wrote the excellent liner notes for this release.
